Annual Gift Of Health Gala
The Annual Gift of Health Gala is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event, and is made possible by the significant generosity and support of many committed individuals whose goal is to support quality healthcare in Milton!
Themed ‘Northern Lights’ the black-tie Gala will take place this year on Saturday May 27th, 2017. Held at Rattle Snake Point Golf Club, it is expected that more than 300 local community members, businesses and VIP’s will gather to enjoy an evening of live entertainment and music, silent and live auctions, socializing, and dinner. This event continues to be tremendously successful over the years and sells out early!
Since its inception in 2009, approximately 2,000 guests have enjoyed MDHF’s Gift of Health Gala, which has raised over $1.3 million towards the purchase of essential medical equipment for Milton District Hospital. Every equipment piece is critical and every piece needs to be 100% funded by our community. In 2016, we were delighted to announce that the Gift of Health Gala raised $282,000 in net proceeds towards funding the purchase of equipment required to outfit the new hospital expansion.
