2012 Gift of Health Gala “A Night in Rio”

On Saturday, April 28th, 2012, MDHF’s Annual Gift of Health Gala, themed “A Night in Rio” entertained guests with Brazilian flavour and flair.  The evening featured Cocktails, Dinner, Silent and Live Auctions, Live Band, and a Latin Dance Performance and Instructional! Click here to view the Gala Poster.

This year, we are thrilled to annouce that the Gift of Health Gala raised $123,000 which will go toward the purchase of three electrocardiogram (ECG) machines for use at the Milton District Hospital.

Annual Gift of Health Gala

The Annual Gift of Health Gala is Milton District Hospital Foundation’s signature fundraising event and has quickly become one of the “go to” events in Milton! The Gala takes place each year at the end of April and is held at ClubLink’s prestigious Rattlesnake Point Golf Club where more than 300 local community members, businesses and VIP’s gather together with a single goal – to support quality health care in our community. Guests at the Gala enjoy a formal evening out including a cocktail reception, fabulous dinner, silent and live auction and live entertainment.

Funds raised at the Gift of Health Gala help purchase new equipment for Milton District Hospital such as an ICU monitoring system in 2009, an Ultrasound Machine in 2010, and an Operating Room Equipment Sterilizer in 2011.

2011 Gift of Health Gala "The Silver Screen"

“The Silver Screen”, 2011 Annual Gift of Health Gala brought our guests back to an earlier period to experience the glamour of vintage Hollywood. The evening was a tremendous success.  Proceeds of more than $106,000 were used to fund the purchase of an Operating Room Equipment Sterilizer for Milton District Hospital.  Thank you to all who attended in support of our community hospital!
