Orlando Corporation - Matching gift pushes campaign to new heights 

In the spring of 2007 Orlando Corporation’s matching gift pledge of $750,000 provided the momentum to help push Milton District Hospital Foundation’s largest fundraising campaign over the top. Royal Canadian Legion – Loyal support for the hospital reaches Pacesetter level 

The Royal Canadian Legion, Pte U.J. Joe Waters Branch 136 has been a champion of the Milton District Hospital for many years. Local veterans and their families use their community hospital for their health care needs and strongly support the hospital. Over the years the Legion’s donations have funded new medical equipment such as an infant monitor in 2004, substantial support for the CT Scanner Campaign in 2006/2007 and an ICU bed in 2009. Sargent Farms – Family support for the hospital reaches new heights! 

Last February Milton District Hospital Foundation hosted a celebratory reception to honour a new pledged gift from Sargent Farms in the amount of $140,000 for the purchase of a new Holmium Laser for our urology department. Read more…
